Why the tonneau case decides it
The case is not one piece but three — a curved tonneau bezel, a caseband and a back — held together by a ring of spline screws that have to sit at identical depth and identical rotation. On a weak clone the screw heads point in random directions and the three layers show a hairline step where they meet. That is the fault that sends most batches back to the supplier: heads standing proud by different amounts around the caseband, so the light breaks across the ring instead of running round it. On the examples we keep, the case halves meet flush and the screw line reads as one continuous curve against the wrist.
The second giveaway is the dial, or rather the absence of one. These are skeleton layouts viewed through sapphire, which means the bridges, the wheel train and the rubber-mounted movement supports are all on display. We check the finishing on the visible bridges and the alignment of the applied numerals, because a crooked numeral on a skeleton dial has nowhere to hide.
What the 60 references cover
Prices are set by model, and each product page shows the price with and without the box. Case material and strap colour are the main variables, and they are also where a sample most often fails on arrival: a strap moulding that does not follow the tonneau curve leaves a gap at the lug that no amount of dial detail rescues.

Water resistance is everyday level, around 50 metres — rain and hand-washing are fine, swimming and diving are not. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating is standard.
