The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is carbon, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 50mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Is carbon fibre as durable as stainless steel?
Carbon fibre is lighter but more brittle than steel. It resists corrosion and chemical damage well. Impacts can crack or chip the carbon weave. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, not impact damage.
What does the carbon texture look like in person?
Carbon fibre shows a visible weave pattern, typically black with grey undertones. QC photographs render the texture under standard lighting so you can assess the visual finish before receiving your unit.
How large is 50mm compared to typical watches?
50mm is significantly larger than standard 40mm sports watches. Lug-to-lug and case depth vary; QC photographs show proportions on a wrist for perspective. A 7.5-inch wrist or larger suits this comfortably.
Does the automatic movement reflect Romain Grosjean's original specifications?
No. Our Swiss-grade movement is unmarked and handles timekeeping only. It does not replicate Richard Mille's complicated calibres or tourbillon systems used in the original.

What the Richard Mille RM011 is
The RM011 is Richard Mille's signature for the racing driver, built in carbon fibre and designed for Romain Grosjean and the Lotus F1 team. At 50mm, it is an uncompromising statement of technical precision and extreme lightweight materials.
How our clone follows it
We build this with a 50mm carbon fibre case, our Swiss-grade automatic movement, sapphire crystal, and the distinctive tonneau shape. In QC we inspect the carbon weave pattern for consistency and the case edges for sharp definition. The dial layout and indices must be crisp, and we photograph the entire unit to show the carbon texture authentically.
On the wrist
At 50mm, the RM011 is a commanding presence on the wrist. Carbon fibre keeps it light despite the size, making it comfortable for all-day wear. This is a technical showpiece rather than a subtle daily watch. For a smaller tonneau in carbon, try the RM018, or explore the RM055 for a similar size and material.
