Where the Overseas shows its hand

The bezel decides it. A Maltese cross bezel has flanks that must sit at equal depth around the crystal and break the light in the same order each time the wrist turns; leave one flank shallow and the whole case reads wrong. The Overseas pieces here - 4500V/110A-B126, the green dial, the 42.5mm chronograph, the 6000V/110A-B544 tourbillon - are checked at that bezel and then at the bracelet junction, where the first link has to meet the case with no step and no daylight. That join is what an experienced eye reaches for before it reaches for the dial.

The 222 and the quieter references

Historiques 222 (4200H/222A-B934) asks for something else entirely. It has no sports-watch mass to hide behind: the case profile is thin, the bezel notching shallow, and the gold "222" beside the date aperture is small enough that a clumsy print shows itself under a loupe. The Traditionnelle Complete Calendar asks for restraint of another kind - sub-dial spacing and hand length, nothing loud. Both are replicas, as everything on this page is, and neither is offered as anything else.

Specification, and what you see before dispatch

All eleven Vacheron Constantin references are $1,388. Movements are Swiss-grade clone automatics with roughly 48 hours of reserve. Steel is 904L on the references that use it, with gold plating where the model carries it, under anti-reflective sapphire; water resistance suits daily wear at around 50 metres and not diving. Before dispatch we photograph your actual watch and film a short QC video, and nothing leaves until you have seen both and agreed.
