The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. A Swiss-grade automatic with approximately 48 hours of power reserve. It is not the Vacheron Constantin calibre, but it's reliable and serviceable by any watchmaker.
How should I wind it before first wear?
Rotate the crown outward (not screwed down) until you feel resistance, then turn it clockwise about 20 times. This builds an initial charge. The movement will then run continuously if you wear the watch regularly.
Is the dial easy to read?
Yes. The 222 dial is legible and clean, with applied indices and a minimalist design. The geometry is the design statement, not fine details.
Will the bracelet taper affect sizing?
