The Overseas is Vacheron Constantin's sports watch, designed to move gracefully from boardroom to adventure. It is refined without being fussy, capable without being industrial. QC focus: integrated bracelet and dial finishing

The Overseas's integrated bracelet is its signature, a design challenge that requires perfect alignment where the case lugs meet the bracelet links. We photograph the lug-bracelet junction from multiple angles to verify perfect flush alignment, no gaps or steps. The dial finish on Vacheron watches is often a subtle matte or sunburst: we inspect for evenness and depth, checking that the colour is consistent. On the green dial variants, the finish must be a true green without bleaching or uneven tone. The applied indices and logo must sit perfectly square without tilt. On the rose-gold variants, the case plating must be consistent, with no base metal showing through at the case edges or bezel.

If you want a classic steel sports watch, start with the entry Overseas or the 4500V models in steel. If you prefer integrated chronograph function, the 5500V chronograph is your choice. If contemporary colour appeals to you, the green-dial versions are striking and versatile. The rose-gold 4520V with green dial is a premium variant, warm and distinctive.
