What makes the carbon NTPT weave pattern unique on each watch?
NTPT is hand-layered carbon composite, so the grain pattern is never identical between units. When you review the QC photos, the weave you see on your approved unit is the exact one you will receive.
Is the RM 21-02 harder to damage than steel?
Carbon composite is stiff and resists deep scratches better than stainless steel, but it can crack if struck at a hard angle. For daily-wear abuse, it is more resilient than you might expect.
How does the 48-hour power reserve work in practice?
The automatic movement winds when your wrist moves. If you wear it regularly, it stays wound. Leave it sitting for two days and the balance will stop; you wind it by hand or wear it again to restart.
Can the tourbillon position be verified in the photos?
Absolutely. The tourbillon cage is visible through the caseback; we photograph it from angles that show its position and rotation. Cross-check against reference images before you approve.
