The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is carbon, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 50mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How does carbon feel different from steel?
Carbon is lighter and warmer to the touch. It does not conduct heat like metal, so it feels more comfortable on the wrist in warm weather.
Will the carbon case scratch?
Yes. Carbon marks under wear, though scratches are less visible than on polished steel. The texture of carbon hides fine scratches better than reflective metal.
Is the dial open or closed on the RM35-02?
The dial is closed. Unlike the RM59-01 and M8215 skeleton models, this reference has a solid dial with applied indices only.
What colour are the applied indices?
The indices are typically gold-toned or silver depending on batch. QC photographs show the exact finish before dispatch.

What the RM35-02 is
The Richard Mille RM35-02 is a refined carbon-case sports watch, stepping beyond the oversized skeleton models into wearable territory. At 50mm, it is still substantial, but the closed dial and carbon case make it less of a display piece and more of a usable watch for those committed to Richard Mille's aesthetic.
How our clone follows it
We build this with a 50mm case in carbon composite, sapphire crystal, and our Swiss-grade automatic movement. Carbon is lighter than steel and offers a distinctive look. In QC we verify that the case texture is consistent and that the dial indices sit flush on the dial surface. Carbon cases can show seams or surface irregularities, so we photograph these details carefully.
On the wrist
Fifty millimetres in carbon feels lighter than steel at the same size, which improves wearability. The carbon material reads as more exclusive and refined than basic steel. For other carbon options in the Richard Mille catalogue, try the RM35-01 or the M8215 if you want a skeletonised option.

We photograph your unit in daylight to show the carbon texture and dial finishing before you approve dispatch.
