The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is two-tone, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Is the mother of pearl dial fragile or prone to wear?
Mother of pearl is durable but can scratch under direct contact or chemicals. Avoid rubbing the dial with abrasive materials. Normal wrist wear does not damage it. If you prefer a more robust dial finish, we stock other Daytona variants with black or white dials.
What is the difference between 116500LN and other Daytona references?
Reference 116500LN-0001 is a specific two-tone variant with mother of pearl dial and diamond-set bezel. Other references vary in metal combination (all-gold, all-steel) or dial colour. This version is relatively uncommon and collector-focused.
Does the chronograph function work on this clone?
The dial has subdials for chronograph display, but this is a time-only automatic movement, not a functioning chronograph. The subdials are applied decoration matching the Daytona design; they do not operate timing functions.
Can I swim with a 40mm Daytona?
No. Water resistance is about 50 metres for hand-washing and rain only. Swimming, snorkelling or sustained water contact will risk damage. The Daytona is a wrist tool, not a water sports watch.
