The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How do I know if the Roman numerals are applied correctly?
During QC we photograph them close-up. Compare the numeral placement and style to published reference images of the 116519 online. They should be serif-style Roman characters (I, II, III, IV, etc.), evenly spaced around the dial.
Is the chronograph guarantee included in the 12-month warranty?
Yes. If the chronograph fails to start, stop, or reset, or if subdials jam, it's covered under the 12-month mechanical warranty. We don't guarantee precision—that requires a certified chronometer—but we do cover malfunction.
What's the difference between the 116519 and other Daytona references?
The 116519 specifically denotes black dial with Roman numerals in stainless steel. Other references (like 116503) have stick markers or Arabic numerals; others use precious metals. The dial and bezel markings set each reference apart.
At 40mm, how visible are the subdials on a smaller wrist?
The three subdials are always visible, but on a 16cm wrist the case may feel large. The subdials themselves (hour, minute, second counters) are proportional to the dial and will be readable. Try the 40mm on if possible to confirm comfort.

What the Daytona is
The Daytona is Rolex's chronograph with three subdials for timing and a tachymeter bezel. Reference 116519 is the stainless-steel version at 40mm with a black dial and Roman numerals—a bold, classical look. How our clone follows it
We've built this to 40mm in 904L stainless steel with a Swiss-grade automatic movement powering the chronograph function. The black dial with Roman numerals is the focal point; during QC we check subdial alignment—each must sit perfectly in the frame—and confirm the numerals are crisp and clear. The Oyster bracelet is three links, solid and proportioned to the case. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective coating, 50 metres water resistance.

The 40mm Daytona with black dial reads as serious and professional. Roman numerals add vintage character; the chronograph subdials confirm it's a timing tool. It suits formal business and casual wear equally. If you prefer steel without numerals, check other Daytona variants; if you want jewelled versions, the Rolex 116506-0001 iced is a sparkly alternative.
