The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. What shade is the chocolate dial?
Chocolate dials range from medium brown (warm, coffee-like) to very dark brown (nearly black in low light). Some batches lean lighter, others darker. Your QC photos show the exact tone your unit displays under daylight and indoor light before approval.
Does chocolate pair well with steel?
The colour contrast is elegant: warm brown against cool steel creates visual interest. It's less formal than black dial, more casual than precious metals. Many owners consider chocolate dial steel Daytonas highly versatile.
Do subdials stick over time?
Clone chronograph mechanisms are reliable for 3�4 years. Subdials may stick or advance unevenly after heavy use or age. Light timekeeping use extends mechanism life; heavy chronograph use accelerates wear. Your QC video demonstrates smooth operation before dispatch.
Is chocolate dial less common?
