The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Do the chronograph pushers actually work?
Our clones include functional chronograph pushers that start, stop, and reset the subdials. The mechanism is mechanical and reliable for 2�3 years of moderate use. Heavy chronograph use may cause the subdials to stick or advance unevenly over time, which is normal wear on clone movements.
How centred are the chronograph subdials?
Chronograph subdial centring is a known challenge on clones. Misalignment of 1�3 mm is common. Your QC photographs show all three subdials straight-on and at an angle, so you can evaluate centring accuracy before approving the unit.
What do the numbers on the tachymeter bezel mean?
The tachymeter scale measures speed based on elapsed time over a known distance (typically one mile or kilometre). You start the chronograph at a marker, stop at the next, and read your speed on the bezel number aligned with the running hand. It's a vintage timing tool now mostly decorative.
Is the Daytona waterproof for sports?
Water resistance is approximately 50 metres�adequate for hand-washing and rain but not for swimming or diving. If you plan water exposure, consider a Submariner instead. The Daytona is designed as a wrist-worn timer for racing, not water sports.

What the Daytona is
Rolex's Daytona is the chronograph for drivers: a 40 mm steel sports watch designed for wrist-worn timing on a racing circuit. The black dial and tachymeter bezel define the family. Even decades later, it remains instantly recognisable and highly sought.
How our clone follows it
The case is 40 mm stainless steel with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. Movement is our Swiss-grade automatic running 48 hours. For QC, we check chronograph subdial alignment (a common weak point on clones�they often sit slightly off-centre), dial printing quality, tachymeter bezel readability, and case finishing under daylight. The black dial should display deep colour without dullness.
On the wrist
At 40 mm, the Daytona feels compact yet commanding. Stainless steel keeps it sporty without the formality of precious metals.
