The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

What makes the white dial special on a Daytona?
The white dial is the classic, clean look. It offers maximum contrast for reading the subdials and chronograph hands. White dials show wear and patina over time, but a new white Daytona photograph is crisp and legible. Your QC images will show the exact dial condition.
How do I check the subdial hand positions in QC?
In QC photographs, the three subdial hands should be centred on their respective subdials. Misaligned hands (off-centre or tilted) indicate a manufacturing issue. Compare the positions across multiple angles in the photo set to confirm alignment.
Is the tachymeter bezel functional?
The tachymeter bezel is fixed; it does not rotate. It is used with the chronograph hand to read elapsed time or speed. It is not a rotatable timing bezel like the GMT or dive watch models.
Should I expect the white dial to yellow over time?
White dials can develop a slight cream tone with age and UV exposure. This is natural patina, not a defect. Your QC photographs show the unit's current state. Once delivered, the rate of colour change depends on sunlight exposure and storage conditions.

In QC we focus on the tachymeter bezel (alignment, smooth rotation), the subdial hand positions (they must be straight and centred), the dial printing (sharp and even), and the bracelet endlink fit. The white dial should be clean and free of blemishes; we photograph it closely to confirm.
