The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How reliable is the chronograph on clones?
Clone chronographs are mechanically sound for 3�4 years with moderate use. The pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock and subdials operate smoothly. Heavy chronograph use may cause subdial lag or sticking; light use keeps accuracy sharp. Your QC video demonstrates the chronograph in action before dispatch.
Is the black dial glossy or matte?
Most clone Daytona black dials are matte (brushed), reducing reflections. Some batches display a subtle satin finish. Colour depth is consistently dark without appearing dull or grey. Your QC photos show the dial under varied lighting before you approve.
What is the tachymeter used for?
The tachymeter measures speed: start the chronograph at one marker, stop at a second marker (one mile or kilometre away), and read your speed on the bezel number aligned with the running chronograph hand. It's a vintage timing tool now mostly a visual reference.
Is this watch suitable for water?
No. Water resistance is approximately 50 metres�adequate for hand-washing and rain but not for swimming. For water exposure, consider a Submariner instead. The Daytona is a wrist timer for land-based use.

How our clone follows it
The case is 40 mm stainless steel with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. Inside is our Swiss-grade automatic movement running 48 hours. For QC we check chronograph subdial centring (often offset 1�2 mm on clones), dial printing sharpness, tachymeter bezel alignment, and case finishing symmetry. The black dial should display deep colour without a dull or faded appearance.
