The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How secure are the diamond and coloured stone settings?
In QC video we verify that all stones are firmly set with no movement or rattle. Professional setting ensures security; any loose stone would be caught and corrected before dispatch.
Will the rainbow colour fade or change over time?
The colours are applied to the bezel material and should remain stable under normal wear. Fading or discolouration is not expected from standard daily use.
Can I replace individual stones if one becomes loose?
Yes. A professional jeweller can replace stones without disturbing the watch movement, though it requires specialist tools and expertise.
Is the diamond-set bezel functional like a tachymeter, or is it purely aesthetic?
The bezel markings remain under the stone settings, allowing tachymeter function to be read. The diamonds are decorative; the timing function is unchanged.

What the Daytona is
Rolex's Daytona is the racing chronograph, built for speed and precision timing. The tachymeter bezel lets you measure velocity; the subdials track elapsed time. This diamond-rainbow bezel version represents the luxury end of the Daytona family—studded and colourful.

At 40mm with a jewelled bezel, this wears with significant presence and sparkle. It's a luxury sports watch, not a discrete tool. For a more understated Daytona in steel, try the 16528 Black or the 16523 Champagne.
