The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Is the black dial harder to read than others?
No. The high-contrast white lume on black creates excellent legibility in daylight and low light. The subdial markers remain clearly visible. The QC photograph shows the dial under various lighting angles to verify readability.
How does this compare to the rainbow version?
Both are 40mm stainless steel with automatic movements. The rainbow dial is more colourful and sporty; the black dial is versatile and formal. The mechanism, size, and movement are identical.
Will the black dial show fingerprints?
The sapphire crystal is polished, not brushed, so light oils and dust may be visible. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth removes marks. The anti-reflective coating on the underside minimises internal reflections.
Do I need to use the chronograph regularly?
No. The chronograph mechanism will function when needed, but normal wearing does not require operating the pushers. The watch keeps time precisely as a standard automatic even if the stopwatch is never engaged.
