The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Why is the black dial harder to inspect in QC than other colours?
Black dials show dust and fingerprints easily under magnification. In QC, we photograph under controlled soft lighting to ensure the dial is completely clean before dispatch. Very close inspection can reveal minor dust particles that are not visible in normal wear.
How do I check the date and day windows are properly aligned?
In QC photographs, the date should sit centred in its window (not tilted or off to one side), and the day text must be straight and fully readable. Both windows should be clearly visible in the photos. Compare multiple angles to confirm alignment.
Is the President bracelet comfortable for daily wear?
The President bracelet is substantial and formal. Many owners find it comfortable for daily wear; others prefer a leather strap for lighter, more casual use. Try the bracelet in your QC photos before committing; if it feels too heavy, consider a strap swap with a watchmaker.
Does a black dial require special cleaning or maintenance?
A black dial should be wiped gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or excessive moisture. The dial finish is paint, not a hard sapphire; aggressive scrubbing can damage it. Normal care preserves the black finish for years.

How our clone follows it
We build this at 40mm stainless steel around a Swiss-grade automatic movement with approximately 48 hours of power. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial. In QC we focus on the date window alignment (the date disc must be fully visible and centred), the day window text sharpness (the day must be legible and straight), the black dial finish (colour should be even across the entire surface), and the President bracelet endlink fit (links should be flush and level). The black dial is prone to showing dust under the crystal; we photograph it in controlled light to verify cleanliness.
