What is a wave dial and why is it special?
A wave dial has a pattern of subtle ripples milled across the surface, catching light as the wrist moves. It adds visual interest and depth compared to a flat dial. QC checks that the waves are even, not scratched or smudged.
Is rose gold durable or does it scratch easily?
Rose gold is 18K (typically), softer than stainless steel. It scratches more readily with daily wear. Patina and fine scratches are expected; they add character. If you want bright gold, choose stainless steel instead.
Does the day window interfere with the dial design?
No. The day window sits at 12 o'clock, the date at 3 o'clock. The wave dial design flows around them without disruption. Both windows display clearly against the wave pattern.
