The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

What exactly is a sundust dial?
Sundust is a warm, reflective brown-gold tone—almost like bronze catching light. It's not a solid colour; it shifts and catches light depending on the angle and ambient light. Under a desk lamp it reads warmer; under daylight it can appear more neutral.
Is the sundust finish durable or prone to damage?
It's applied to the dial surface during manufacture and is quite durable under normal wear. Avoid wiping the dial or exposing it to solvents. Finger oils and dust may collect over time, but these wipe away gently with a soft, dry cloth.
How does the 41mm case sit compared to the 40mm Day-Date models?
One millimetre larger in diameter, but the visual difference is noticeable. The 41mm reads as sportier, more commanding. If you have a smaller wrist (under 16.5cm), the 40mm will sit better. Most adult men find the 41mm comfortable.
Are the day and date fonts the same as the other Day-Date references?
They're all perpetual calendar wheels with day and date spelling out in full. Font style is consistent across the family. The sundust dial simply frames them differently because of the reflective quality and warm tone.

Reference 218239 is the larger Day-Date, stepping up to 41mm. This version features a sundust dial—a warm, reflective brown-gold tone that changes with the light. How our clone follows it
We've engineered this to 41mm in 904L stainless steel with a Swiss-grade automatic movement. The sundust dial is the centrepiece; during QC we photograph it under different light sources to ensure the colour tone is consistent and the reflective quality matches expectations. The day and date windows sit true. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective coating, 50 metres water resistance, built to last through daily wear and formal occasions alike.
On the wrist
At 41mm, the Day-Date II wears larger than the 40mm Day-Date, suiting confident wearers and thicker wrists. The sundust dial is more nuanced than solid black or white—it catches light as the day progresses, which is the appeal.
