The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. What makes the champagne dial different from white or silver?
Champagne is warmer—almost a light gold or beige tone—compared to the cooler neutrality of white. It reflects light differently, giving the dial subtle depth and visual interest throughout the day. Personal preference determines which you'll prefer.
Does the champagne finish stay consistent or fade over time?
The champagne colour is applied during dial manufacture, not plated. Under normal indoor and business-wear light, it will remain stable for years. Extended sun exposure might cause minimal shift, but this is expected aging, not a defect.
Is the 40mm case size unisex or specifically men's?
The listing specifies men's. At 40mm it suits most adult male wrists (17–19cm). Some women prefer larger watches and wear 40mm well; some men prefer 36mm. Sizing is individual—the case diameter, not gender, determines fit.
How does the champagne Day-Date sit among the other steel models?
