The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. Is the yellow gold plated or solid?
Our gold watches use a gold alloy case, not plated. Over time, patina develops and lustre may dull—this is natural. If you want polish restored, a watchsmith can refinish it, though this is cosmetic only.
What colour is the day window display?
Typically white lettering on a dark background, or dark text on white background, depending on the dial colour. The contrast makes the day readable at a glance. QC photographs confirm the clarity for your specific unit.
Does the automatic movement need winding if I wear it every day?
No. Daily wrist motion keeps it wound. If unworn for more than 48 hours, it will stop and need manual winding to restart. This is normal for automatics.
How often should I service the watch?
Normal wear requires no service for 5–10 years if kept dry and treated gently. If it loses time, runs loud, or gets wet, it may need service. We don't provide service; use a local watchsmith for mechanical work.
