Why is the day-date complication valuable if a phone tells me both?
Tradition and self-sufficiency. A mechanical watch needs no battery or signal and never updates incorrectly. The day-date is a skill to own and a way to read time that is independent of electronics.
Does stainless steel scratch easily in daily wear?
Lightly, yes. Brushed steel shows less scratching than polished; polished catches every mark. QC photographs show the current finish. Scratches are cosmetic and can be buffed out by a watchsmith if desired.
What colour is the day window text?
Typically white or cream lettering on a dark background for contrast. The exact colour depends on your specific unit's dial. QC photos confirm the clarity and contrast.
Is the 40mm size comfortable for all wrists?
Yes, for most. Wrists 7–8 inches wear it well-proportioned. Above 8 inches, larger sizes may feel better; below 6.5 inches, it can feel slightly prominent. Try one on if possible before committing.
