The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. Is the chronograph on this watch functional?
The chronograph subdials are not functional in this clone. They are printed on the dial for visual accuracy. The regatta countdown timer function is also non-functional — visual only.
Why is the Yacht-Master II so much larger than other Yacht-Masters?
The additional complications require space. The regatta timer and chronograph subdials need room. The 44mm size is intentional, not arbitrary; it houses the dial properly and suits sailing scenarios.
Can I wear a 44mm watch if I have a small wrist?
Comfort is personal, but 44mm is large. If you prefer something more proportional, the 116622PLSO at 40mm may suit you better.
What colour is the Yacht-Master II dial?
The 116689-0001 has a white dial, which reads clean and professional. Other Yacht-Master II references come in black, but this reference is white.
