The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Does the movement carry the Rolex calibre number?
No. The Swiss-grade automatic inside is engineered to match the original's 48-hour power reserve and winding pattern, but it is not Rolex's proprietary calibre. It is our own high-grade movement.
How does rhodium finish hold up over years?
Rhodium is applied as a coating over the dial base and is durable under normal wear. Hand-wash only; avoid polishing solutions that might wear the finish. Light scratches are normal with time.
What is the water resistance limit for daily use?
Water resistance is for daily wear only: hand-washing and rain, not swimming or showers. It is not a dive watch—do not submerge it intentionally or use it for swimming.
How does this reference differ from the 116622-0001?
The 116622-0001 mixes steel with 18k gold, making it two-tone and heavier. This rhodium version is pure steel and more formal because of the dial colour alone.
