Is the platinum finish real platinum?
No. The case is stainless steel with a platinum-coloured finish, not precious metal. We do not claim platinum composition or purity.
How does platinum tone differ from white gold or steel?
Platinum is cooler and more neutral than white gold (which can appear faintly warm) and brighter than brushed steel. All three are cool-toned metals, but each has a distinct character.
Why is the platinum Yacht-Master rare?
Platinum finishes are uncommon in the Yacht-Master line. Most variants are steel, gold, or titanium. The 116622-0001 platinum option is distinctive and limited.
Does platinum finish require special care?
