The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

How vivid is the green dial—lime or forest green?
The 114060 green is a rich, medium green somewhere between forest and seafoam. Under studio light it is vibrant; in natural daylight it settles to a more muted tone.
Is the green a paint or dyed into the dial material?
The green is lacquered onto the dial base, then coated. The finish is durable under normal wear but will show marks if subjected to harsh chemicals or intense sunlight.
How does the 114060 green compare to the 116610LV green?
Both are green dials, but the 114060 pairs green with a black bezel, whilst the 116610LV has a green sapphire bezel and often includes gem work. The 114060 is less ornate.
Is the 114060 a current or discontinued reference?
The 114060 is a classic reference now superseded by newer designs. Green dials remain popular with collectors, and our clone follows the established 114060 specification.

What the Submariner is
The Submariner 114060 is the green-dial sibling to the black 114000: a steel Submariner with a striking green sunburst dial and a black bezel. It is less jewelled than the Hulk (116610LV) and less formal than two-tone variants, striking a balance between sport and statement.

On the wrist
Green dials are bolder than black, making the 114060 more of a personality watch than the understated 16610. At 40mm it wears comfortably on all wrist sizes. If you are comparing the 114060 to the 16610 (black dial), you are trading subtlety for presence. The 116610LV (iced-out green) is more spectacle; this one is sportier.
