How we check a Nautilus case

This is a case-maker's watch before it is anything else. The rounded octagon is not a bezel dropped onto a middle case; it is a sandwich with hinge-like ears at three and nine. The shape stands or falls on two transitions — the roll from the flat bezel top into its polished flank, and the seam where the ears meet the band. Soft clones blur both, so that edge goes under the loupe before anyone looks at the dial.

The dial is the second test. Its horizontal grooves must be embossed at even pitch across the full width, deep enough to catch raking light without reading as printed stripes; the applied batons must sit level in their own reflections. Gradient dials in the 5711G-001 idiom are hardest: a flat, sooty fade from centre to edge is the usual tell.

The spread tracks dial and bracelet finishing, not the calibre. Movements are Swiss-grade clone automatics carrying roughly 48 hours of reserve, under anti-reflective sapphire. Integrated bracelets are finished link by link so brushing and polishing change direction where they should, and the taper is checked against reference photographs. Treat the water resistance as everyday — around 50 metres, rain and hand-washing — and keep it away from diving.

Before dispatch we send photographs of your actual watch and a QC video, then wait for your yes. Payment is bank transfer or cryptocurrency only, arranged by email after the order, and the parcel leaves one to two working days after payment clears.

Free tracked and insured delivery takes 5–10 working days in unbranded packaging; we do not ship to Switzerland. The parcel holds the watch, its presentation case, QC certificate and warranty card, papers, cloth and travel pouch. Returns run 14 days from delivery, unworn and in its original packaging, with a 12-month warranty on manufacturing faults.
