The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Does the dial have a raised or printed pattern?
The Nautilus dial pattern is printed, not raised. The indices and markers sit flat on the dial surface. On QC we photograph the dial under different angles so you can see the finish quality and any printing imperfections before approving.
Is the crown screw-down or press-in?
The crown is press-fit. A screw-down crown would change the case profile significantly. Our clone uses a standard crown suitable for daily wear and hand-washing; it is not meant for diving.
What movement is inside?
A Swiss-grade automatic calibre with roughly 48 hours of power reserve. It is not Patek Philippe's calibre PP200. You wind it by hand if stopped, and it functions for daily wear and occasional sport.
How does the bracelet taper feel compared to the case?
The taper should be smooth, narrowing from the 40mm case to the clasp. We check spacing on QC photos. The whole bracelet should close evenly and hold its shape. Poor taper makes the watch feel top-heavy or awkward at the wrist.

What the Nautilus is
The Nautilus is Patek Philippe's sport watch icon: a 40mm integrated-bracelet case with a distinctive dial pattern of stepped indices, applied hour markers, and a central seconds hand. The family spans steel, gold, and two-tone variants with a cohesive aesthetic defined by the bracelet taper and case shape.
How our clone follows it
We work from the 40mm, stainless steel specification and automatic movement. Our QC check focuses on dial centre alignment—the Nautilus dial pattern can look off-centre if the printing is loose—and bracelet flatness across the links. The integrated bracelet on this reference requires careful endlink spacing to avoid a loose or rattling feel.
On the wrist
Forty millimetres is a refined size for the Nautilus: neither oversized nor compact. Steel makes it lighter than gold variants. The watch wears like a dress sports piece, at home with formal wear or casual trousers. For comparison, the Patek Philippe 5711/1A in steel shares a similar DNA, as does the 5711/1A with Tiffany dial.
