The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Does the Sigma notation affect the watch's quality or value?
Sigma dials appeared on certain Nautilus references as a manufacturing marker. It does not indicate a lower grade or defect; it's simply a dial variant from the original era. This is purely a design element.
What is the dial material on this 38mm version?
The dial is finished to match the Sigma-marked original's appearance. It's printed and sealed for durability against daily wear. Sunlight may shift the colour subtly over years, as it does with any dial.
Will the 38mm feel too small compared to modern watches?
It depends on your wrist and taste. The 38mm Nautilus was the original proportions for decades. Some buyers prefer the refined, dress-watch feel; others want the presence of 40mm. Both are available in the Nautilus collection.
Is this suitable for formal occasions?
