The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Why is the blue dial special on the Nautilus?
Blue is a signature Nautilus colour, delivering visual depth and formality. It is harder to execute than a simple dial finish, requiring careful dial printing and texture control, which is why we check it closely in QC.
Does the porthole bezel on a 40 mm feel disproportionate?
No. The bezel scale increases with the case size, maintaining the signature Nautilus look. The 40 mm bezel is proportional and neither looks oversized nor undersized when worn.
Is the Nautilus better than the Aquanaut for larger wrists?
Both are integrated-case icons. The Nautilus is broader, more formal, and commands more wrist presence. The Aquanaut is narrower and sport-ready. Choose based on wrist size and aesthetic preference, not hierarchy.
How durable is the integrated bracelet?
Very. The integrated design is rigid and resists flex. We check link fit and clasp engagement in QC. The bracelet taper and end-link connection are critical inspection points.
