The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

What makes the 'Pepsi' bezel distinctive compared to other GMT-Master variants?
The Pepsi (red-blue) bezel is the classic colour scheme, instantly recognisable and visually lively. It provides higher contrast than monochromatic alternatives, making it easier to read and more visually striking.
Is the 41mm case size significantly larger than modern 40mm GMT-Masters?
Only by 1mm, but the cumulative effect of vintage case finishing makes 41mm feel noticeably larger than modern 40mm. It suits wrists 7 inches and larger comfortably.
How do I verify the red and blue bezel colours are correctly applied?
The boundary between red and blue should be sharp and well-defined. Colours should be vibrant, not faded or muddy. Uneven edges or colour bleeding indicate poor bezel work.
Does the blue dial fade faster than black on a GMT-Master?
Not significantly. Both are stable under normal wear. Blue may show dust or humidity marks slightly more visibly than black, but colour fading is equally slow for both.
