The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

What is DLC-PVD and how durable is it?
DLC-PVD is a hard, dark coating applied to the steel case. It resists scratching better than bare steel but can wear with heavy use. Surface marks in the coating may appear over time as part of normal wear.
Will the DLC coating chip or peel off?
The coating is durable when properly applied, but impacts or abrasion can damage it. Minor cosmetic wear is normal. Major chipping would require professional refinishing, which is not covered by the warranty.
What colour is the dial on this DLC variant?
The DLC reference typically pairs with a black dial, creating a unified dark aesthetic. QC photographs show your unit's dial colour and any lume or dial printing details before dispatch.
Can I restore the coating if it gets scratched?
Professional refinishing by a watchmaker or jeweller may restore cosmetic appearance, but this is not covered by the store warranty. Minor scratches are part of a watch's story with regular wear.

How our clone follows it
We build this in 40mm stainless steel with a DLC-PVD dark coating applied to the case and bezel, paired with our Swiss-grade automatic movement and sapphire crystal. In QC we examine the coating uniformity and durability against scratches, checking that the bezel rotates smoothly and the GMT hand is the correct colour. The dial legibility and indices alignment receive careful attention in our photographs.

The DLC coating gives this GMT-Master a tactical, contemporary appearance while retaining the steel structure underneath. At 40mm it scales well to most wrists.
