The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How does the GMT hand differ from the main hour hand?
The GMT hand is shorter and often thicker, running independently on a 24-hour cycle. It allows you to read a second time zone without removing the watch or adjusting the main time.
Does the bezel need maintenance if used regularly?
The bezel should rotate smoothly without grinding. If it becomes stiff, a qualified watchmaker can service it. Regular use keeps it lubricated; avoid forcing it if it resists.
Can the GMT hand be adjusted independently?
Yes, on the clone movement it can be set separately from the main hand. The adjustment method depends on the specific movement; your QC video will show the operation.
Is black on black hard to read at night?
The lume on the indices and hands glows in darkness, making the watch readable. In daylight, black-on-black is harder to scan quickly, but GMT Masters prioritise durability over instant legibility.

What the GMT-Master is
