The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. How do I use the GMT hand on the wrist?
The GMT hand (the fourth hand on the dial) points to the 24-hour bezel, which shows a second timezone. Set the bezel so the 24-hour mark aligns with your home timezone's hour hand, then rotate the GMT hand independently to track a second time zone. Adjust both before travel.
Is the bezel rotation smooth and predictable?
Yes. The bezel turns with a light click at each hour mark. It should rotate freely without grinding or catching. In QC photographs and video, we verify smooth rotation and verify the click is consistent across all 24 positions.
Can I swap between steel and two-tone GMT models?
Each model is built separately. A steel GMT and a two-tone GMT are different units with different case materials, bezels, and bracelets. Choose the version that suits your style; we offer several variants within the GMT-Master family.
Is the dial legible in low light?
Yes. The dial has luminous markers and hands that glow in darkness. The black dial with white printing offers good contrast. The exact brightness depends on exposure to light; ensure good light exposure during the day for best nighttime glow.

What the GMT-Master is

How our clone follows it
We build this at 40mm stainless steel around a Swiss-grade automatic movement with approximately 48 hours of power. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating sits above the dial. In QC we check the bezel rotation (smooth, no grinding), the dial print alignment, the GMT hand and hour hand alignment, and the end-link fit on the bracelet. The black dial is straightforward; we verify that the printing is even and legible, and that the luminous markers are seated properly.
