The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. What is the chocolate dial compared to silver?
Chocolate is a warm brown finish with matte texture. It appears richer in indoor light and more forgiving of fingerprints than silver or sunburst dials.
Does the dial fade in sunlight?
High UV exposure can fade brown dials over years of direct sun. We recommend storing the watch away from prolonged direct sunlight when not worn.
Is the 228235 waterproof for swimming?
No. The 50m water resistance is for splash and shower; it is not designed for swimming or snorkelling, where pressure and repeated water contact exceed the seal rating.
How do I adjust the date if I skip a month?
You cannot directly set the date; it changes at midnight when the time is set. To shift the date forward, advance the time through multiple 24-hour cycles until you reach the desired date.
