The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Will the ice blue dial maintain its colour in sunlight?
Yes. The dial is printed and sealed. UV exposure will not fade the blue. After years of wear, a subtle patina may develop, but the colour will remain stable.
Does the blue dial appear darker or lighter depending on lighting?
Ice blue is designed to shift subtly in tone depending on ambient light. In bright daylight, it appears lighter and more vibrant. Under indoor lighting, it appears deeper and more contemplative. This is an intentional design feature.
Is this blue dial unique to the 40mm Day-Date, or does it appear on other models?
Rolex has used this ice blue dial across several modern watch lines (Datejust, GMT-Master II, others). However, the Day-Date variant carries it in the 40mm size with the dual windows, making it distinctive within the Day-Date family.
