The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Women’s sizing. At 28mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How does the champagne dial look under different lighting?
Under natural daylight the dial is warm beige-champagne. Under fluorescent indoor light it reads slightly darker, more golden. Our QC video shows both conditions so you see the range.
Is the cyclops magnifier correctly positioned on the 28 mm case?
The cyclops sits directly above the date at 3 o'clock and magnifies the number approximately 2.5 times. On a small dial, any misalignment is obvious; ours pass QC consistently.
Does this version come on leather strap or steel only?
The listing includes the steel bracelet. Leather strap options can be discussed at order time, but the default is stainless steel three-link.
What is the bezel material on this reference?
The bezel is polished stainless steel, not rotating. It is fixed in place. Some Datejust variants use ceramic, but this version uses the traditional steel bezel.

What the Datejust is
The definitive dress watch. The Datejust introduced the date window and remains the standard against which dress watches are measured. This 28 mm version in steel with a champagne dial is classic and understated. The cyclops magnifier sits over the date; applied indices frame the dial cleanly.
How our clone follows it
We've set this at 28 mm in steel with an automatic movement, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. The 50-metre water resistance handles daily wear. In QC we check the date window centring first—any offset is visible on a small dial and fails our standard. Then the dial colour consistency, the cyclops magnification, and the bracelet fit to the lugs.
On the wrist
The 28 mm Datejust in champagne is elegant and understated. The warm dial tone suits most skin tones. The small case fits most wrists without overhang.
