The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Will the diamonds fall out or scratch?
The diamonds are set securely, not glued, so they remain in place. Diamonds themselves do not scratch; they resist damage. We inspect the bezel closely in QC photographs to ensure every stone is tight and aligned.
How does a mother-of-pearl dial age?
Mother-of-pearl is durable and does not fade significantly. It may develop a light patina over years of wear, adding character. It is not vulnerable to water or moisture the way some painted dials are.
Can I size the bracelet?
Yes. We send the watch with the bracelet at a comfortable size; additional links are included in the box for future adjustment. You can remove or add links yourself or have any jeweller do it.
Is 28mm too small for men?
The Datejust in 28mm is designed for women, but some men with smaller wrists prefer it. Try our 36mm Oyster Perpetual 116200 if you want more presence, or stick with the 28mm if you like the refined proportions.
