What is the visual difference between 279175 and other 28 mm plain Datejusts?
Reference 279175 uses a neutral stainless steel finish without specialised bezel or dial treatment. Other 279xxx variants may incorporate fluted bezels, diamond settings, or colour finishes; this is the baseline.
Is the dial completely plain, with no indices?
The dial carries applied stainless steel hour indices and hands, creating visual depth. The indices are mounted separately from the dial surface, lending substance versus printed markers.
How is the cyclops lens integrated into the crystal?
The cyclops is a small magnifying lens fitted beneath the sapphire crystal, positioned over the date window. It's not a separate element; during manufacturing, the crystal and cyclops are aligned and secured as one unit.
Can the bracelet length be adjusted, and how does sizing work?
The bracelet uses removable links that can be adjusted by removing pins. Proper link removal requires jewellery tools; adjustment is straightforward, though improper removal risks damaging the bracelet.
