The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. What makes a champagne dial different from white or silver?
Champagne is a warm gold-adjacent colour with a slight iridescent or rippled texture. It catches light differently than a flat white dial. In bright light, it appears golden. In dim light, it appears grey-beige. This colour-shifting property is intentional and adds character to the face. Under tungsten light the warmth intensifies; in daylight it settles to a more neutral tone.
How should I care for a diamond-set bezel?
The diamonds are set in small metal bezels and should not be opened or adjusted. Regular wear may loosen a setting after years of bumping and flexing. If you notice a loose diamond, have a watchmaker inspect and re-set it. Avoid striking the bezel against hard objects and remove the watch during contact sports.
Does the champagne dial show dirt or dust easily?
Yes, a light champagne dial shows dust more readily than darker dials. A microfibre cloth will clean the crystal without scratching. Dust on the crystal is harmless and easily removed. Do not attempt to clean the dial itself; it sits beneath the crystal and is protected from the environment.
Is champagne a more delicate finish than other dial colours?
The champagne finish is applied similarly to other lacquered dials. It is equally durable if protected by the sapphire crystal. Champagne dials do not fade or discolour more easily than white or black dials. The finish is designed for decades of wear and develops character naturally over time.

In QC photos, we photograph the dial straight-on and at an angle to capture this subtle iridescence and ensure even coverage across the surface. The diamond-set bezel is the second focus: each stone should be secure, aligned and uniformly spaced around the perimeter with no gaps.
