The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 41mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Does the grey dial look silver in certain light?
It has depth. In bright light it reads more silver, in dim light it appears darker grey. We check the dial finish in our QC photos under different angles to show you how it behaves. This is normal for dial colours that are matte or semi-brushed.
Is the date window white or black?
The date disc is white with black numerals. The Cyclops lens sits above it and magnifies to about 2.5x, centering the date in its own window. In QC we verify the disc isn't bleeding into the surrounding dial.
How does this size compare to 36mm?
The 41mm sits noticeably larger and has more visual presence. On smaller wrists, the 31mm reference might feel more balanced. This 41mm is the contemporary standard for the Datejust across all dial options.
Will it fit under a shirt cuff?
Most shirt cuffs will accommodate 41mm easily, though fitted dress shirts may require the watch to sit higher on the wrist. The bracelet height is standard, so once sized it should slip in or out smoothly.

What the Datejust is
The Datejust 41 is the modern size for this iconic collection. Stainless steel, simple dial, date at 3 o'clock. This version has a grey dial—a colour that shifts slightly under different light and suits darker clothing. The case is proportioned so the watch balances on almost any wrist.
How our clone follows it
We run this at 41mm in 904L stainless steel with the Swiss-grade automatic movement. The grey dial finish is one we examine carefully in QC photos because the texture and sheen matter: it should have a faint matte quality, not a glossy finish. We verify the date window is dead centre and the hands are properly aligned at 12 o'clock.
On the wrist
At 41mm with a polished smooth bezel, this is a dress watch that leans slightly sport. The grey dial is understated but catches light in an interesting way. Compare it to the Rolex 116623 with its diamond bezel for contrast, or the Rolex 279161 chocolate dial for a warmer look.
