The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is gold, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Is the gold plating solid or surface coating?
The gold is plated over a steel base, not solid. Plating wears naturally over time; with daily wear you may see the base metal at contact points such as the bracelet clasp. We do not claim solid gold. The plating thickness is sufficient for several years of normal use.
What is a Jubilee bracelet?
The Jubilee is a three-row rolled-gold bracelet with a tapered design, narrower at the ends than the centre. It is the classic Datejust bracelet, softer and more comfortable than the rigid Oyster. The taper is a key detail we check in QC photographs to ensure it matches the original proportions.
Does the Jubilee bracelet stretch over time?
The bracelet can develop micro-movement and slight stretch with years of daily wear, particularly at the clasp hinges. This is normal for rolled-gold bracelets and happens to the original as well. Over time, the clasp may require adjustment or the bracelet may need professional servicing.
Can I swap the Jubilee bracelet for an Oyster?
Yes, both bracelets fit the same lugs on the 12633BKDJ case. A watchmaker can swap them for you. We ship with the Jubilee as specified; obtaining an Oyster bracelet separately is your responsibility if you want that change after purchase.
