The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Why is the date window magnified?
The Cyclops lens magnifies the date by 2.5 times, making it legible from across a room. Our clone replicates this curved sapphire element and its precise positioning. It is one of the most recognised details on the Datejust, and we check it carefully in photographs.
Can the date window be replaced later?
Yes, but the Cyclops is bonded to the sapphire crystal. You can have the entire crystal module replaced by a watchmaker, but we recommend guarding against impacts that might loosen it. Our QC ensures it is properly seated at dispatch.
Does the black dial show dust easily?
Black dials hide dust better than lighter colours, but the applied markers can show lint if the watch is handled without a microfibre cloth. The anti-reflective coating on our sapphire crystal helps you see the dial clearly even in strong light, reducing the urge to clean it often.
Will the bezel hold up with daily wear?
The fluted or smooth bezel on the 126333 is not designed for gripping—it is functional decoration. Daily wear is fine; avoid deliberate impact or sustained contact with rough surfaces. Our clone uses proper 904L and mirrors the original thickness, so it withstands normal use.

What the Datejust is
The Datejust is a dress watch built on a single detail: the date window at 3 o'clock, magnified beneath a Cyclops lens. The dial is clean, marked with applied indices, and flanked by a fluted or smooth bezel depending on the reference. At 41mm, the 126333 sits at the larger end of the Datejust range, substantial enough to fill the wrist yet still proportioned for formal wear.
How our clone follows it
Our clone uses 904L stainless steel case with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. The movement is a Swiss-grade automatic with approximately 48 hours of power reserve. In our QC photographs, we check three critical points for this reference: the centring of the date window within the Cyclops magnifier, the dial texture and alignment of the applied hour markers, and the finish of the bezel. Water resistance is about 50 metres for daily wear and light contact with water.

At 41mm with steel, this watch sits substantial on the wrist—neither light nor heavy, with the proportions of a watch built to transition between work and formal dress.
