The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. How does a 31mm case feel compared to 36mm or 41mm?
A 31mm case is noticeably lighter and sits close to the wrist. It suits smaller wrists and fits easily under a dress shirt sleeve. The smaller bezel-to-dial ratio makes the dial look larger relative to the case, so indices and hands are easier to read.
Does the automatic movement in a 31mm case keep time as well as a larger one?
The movement inside is the same Swiss-grade clone, regardless of case size. Timekeeping is equally reliable. The smaller case does not affect accuracy or power reserve, which remains about 48 hours.
What should I check in the QC photos for this reference?
Look for a centred date window with clean numerals. The dial should be free of dust, spots or printing errors. The hands should align properly and not touch the dial or indices. The bezel should sit evenly against the case all the way around.
Is a 31mm watch suitable for daily wear?
Yes, the steel case and sapphire crystal are built for daily use. Water resistance is approximately 50 metres, so hand-washing and rain are fine. The automatic movement will keep running with normal wrist movement during the day. After sitting unused for more than a few days, it may need a gentle wind to restart.
