The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 41mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

How is the diamond bezel seated and aligned?
The diamonds sit in individual bezels around the perimeter, each held in place by a small metal setting. We photograph the bezel from multiple angles in QC to confirm no stones are loose, chipped, or misaligned. If a setting is imperfect, the watch does not ship.
What does 904L steel feel and look like?
904L is slightly heavier than standard stainless steel and resists scratching better. It has a bright, polished finish on the bezel and case sides. Over time and wear, it develops a natural patina. This steel is used on many high-end watches.
Will the automatic movement need servicing soon?
A Swiss-grade automatic will run reliably for years with normal wear. We don't recommend opening the caseback; the movement is sealed for water resistance. If it stops or runs slow, that is a servicing matter, not a factory defect. Most owners get 5–10 years before service.
Is the sapphire crystal scratch-proof?
Sapphire is very hard but not indestructible. It resists minor scratches from sand or daily wear. A direct impact with a hard surface may chip or crack it. The anti-reflective coating on both sides reduces glare and improves legibility.

What the Datejust is
The Datejust is the everyday steel sports watch that started it all. It sits in the middle of the Rolex line: bigger than the classic Datejust 36, smaller than the GMT or Submariner. This iced-out version glitters with diamond-set bezel and indices.
How our clone follows it
We've built this in 904L steel with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. The case is 41mm and the movement is a Swiss-grade automatic with about 48 hours of power reserve. The diamond-set bezel is the main visual check on QC photos: we photograph the top and sides to confirm the set stones are placed correctly and the bezel sits flush with the case.
On the wrist
A 41mm steel sports watch is a hefty piece—it wears bold and confident. The diamond setting makes it dressy enough for a night out, but the steel keeps it grounded. Compare the Rolex 278341RBR for a smaller, lighter alternative with a diamond dial instead. The Rolex 116625 is a close sibling with slightly different proportions.
