How does the GMT hand work and what should I check in the QC video?
The GMT hand is a separate hand tracking a 24-hour cycle for the second timezone. In the QC video, watch it move independently from the hour hand and confirm it sits on the correct hour for your selected second timezone. It should return cleanly to home position.
What is the 24-hour bezel and how do I use it?
The ceramic bezel rotates 24 hours (one full rotation every 24 hours). You align it with your home timezone at home, then adjust it in the destination timezone to show the hour. It's a mechanical reference system for dual timezones without requiring a second watch.
Is ceramic bezel better than aluminium?
Ceramic is more scratch-resistant and colour-fast than anodised aluminium. Over years of wear, the ceramic bezel will maintain its appearance better, though it can chip if struck hard.
What water resistance does the GMT have?
The clone is rated for daily wear, approximately 50 metres. Hand-washing, rain, and splashing are safe; swimming and submersion are not. The GMT crown is screw-sealed but not rated for diving.
