The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Does the blue dial appear darker indoors or brighter in sunlight?
Blue dials shift tone depending on ambient light. In direct sunlight, the blue appears vibrant and light. Under indoor fluorescent lighting, it appears deeper and more contemplative. This is a characteristic feature, not a defect.
Will the blue dial fade over time?
No. The dial is printed and sealed beneath the sapphire crystal. Sunlight exposure will not fade the colour. After years of wear, a patina may develop on the applied indices, but the dial surface remains stable.
Is the 43mm Seamaster too large for a slim wrist?
A 43mm case with lug-to-lug distance of roughly 51mm fits comfortably on wrists 6.5 inches and larger. Smaller wrists may find it overly large. If you're between sizes, try the 40mm or 41mm Seamaster before committing to 43mm.
Can I wear this blue dial with both warm and cool metal jewellery?
Absolutely. Blue is neutral and works with gold, silver, platinum, and rose gold equally. It also suits both warm and cool skin tones, making it versatile for formal and casual occasions.
