The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 55mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Will a 55 mm watch fit my wrist?
The 55 mm is oversized by modern standards. Lug-to-lug is approximately 64 mm, which requires a wrist larger than 7.5 inches. Try on a 50+ mm watch at a retailer first to check fit.
How does the large crown feel when operating it?
The crown is proportioned for the large case, approximately 8 mm diameter. It unscrews smoothly by hand without tools. The ratchet mechanism is precise even at this size.
Is the bezel safe to rotate on such a large case?
Yes. The bezel sits firmly on a steel insert and rotates smoothly without play. The larger diameter actually makes rotation easier and more controlled than smaller cases.
What is the power reserve with this movement?
The Swiss-grade automatic provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The larger case accommodates a full-size rotor that winds with normal arm movement. Manual winding works smoothly.

What the Ploprof is
An extreme-case diving watch. Water resistance is for daily wear only: hand-washing and rain, not swimming or showers. The dial is black and stark, the bezel rotates, the crown is screw-down. This is a tool watch with no pretence to refinement.
How our clone follows it
We've built this at 55 mm in steel with an automatic movement, sapphire crystal and rotating ceramic bezel. The 50-metre daily-wear resistance is a fraction of what the original was designed for, but the aesthetic is intact. In QC we focus on the case symmetry at this large size, the dial printing sharpness, the bezel smooth rotation, and the screw-down crown seal.
On the wrist
The 55 mm Ploprof makes a statement. This is not a subtle watch. The black dial and large case dominate the wrist; it suits larger wrists comfortably. The steel weight is balanced by the size.
