The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 45mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Will the black dial show fingerprints after handling?
The dial itself will not, but the sapphire crystal can gather dust and oils from your skin. A soft, lint-free cloth and a breath of moisture will clean it without leaving streaks. The dial is sealed beneath the crystal, so fingerprints on the case and bezel will show before the dial does.
Is the bezel click sound normal?
Yes. Each click is the bezel ratchet catching a notch. The sound and resistance will be present and consistent on our clone. If a click softens or vanishes, the ratchet may need adjustment. Contact us for guidance on service options.
Does this black dial reference come in other sizes?
This particular reference (215.92.46.22.01.004) is unique to 45mm. The 43mm Planet Ocean black dial is the 232.32.44.22.03.001. Smaller black dial Seamasters exist but carry different reference numbers.
How often should I wind the watch if it sits unused?
If you wear it 4+ days per week, it stays wound. If you leave it for more than 48 hours, a gentle 20–30 rotations of the crown will restart it. No need to wind fully; the Swiss-grade movement will top up its reserve within a few wears.

A 45mm black dial Seamaster is bold. It commands wrist space and suits athletic builds or formal wrists that prefer understated colour. If 45mm feels too large, step down to the 43mm 215.32.44.21.04.001 Grey or the grey 215.32.46.51.99.001 at the same size for a colour contrast.
