The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 43mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Is the grey dial light enough for daily wear visibility?
Yes. The grey is printed to a medium tone that contrasts well against the white applied indices and black hands. In daylight, legibility is instant. Indoors under typical office lighting, it remains clear.
Can the bezel be manually rotated, or does it click only?
The bezel rotates in both directions, but it clicks in 60 increments as you turn it. Each notch is a second for dive timing. The ratchet is preset and does not slip between clicks—it's a safety feature.
Does the date change at midnight or at 8 a.m. like some automatics?
The date changes at midnight on our clone, just as it does on most automatic Omega movements. If you set the time late at night, you may want to pause the watch and reset it to avoid a false date change mid-day.
How much wrist real estate does 43mm take compared to a 40mm?
A 43mm case is roughly 3mm wider in diameter than 40mm, which translates to a noticeable presence increase. Lug-to-lug distance grows proportionally. Try it on if possible; if you own a 40mm watch, you'll feel the difference.

What the Seamaster is
The Planet Ocean at 43mm is Omega's middle ground for the Seamaster line—smaller than 45mm, larger than 40mm. Grey dial, rotating bezel, date window at 3 o'clock. This is a watch that works both in a sport context and on a formal strap if you fit the case to leather.
We stock this reference often because it balances presence with wearability. Not everyone suits a 45mm frame.

On the wrist
At 43mm, the Seamaster is substantial but not domineering. It suits athletic wrists and works with most strap styles—leather, fabric, or steel. If 43mm appeals but you want a colour shift, the Omega 232.30.46.51.01.001 Black is nearly identical. Prefer steel over grey? The 215.32.46.51.01.001 at 45mm keeps the black dial in the larger frame.
