The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Is the white dial glossy or matte? Will it show dust?
It's semi-matte—subtle sheen, not mirror-like. Dust shows as it would on any matte surface, but a cloth clears it easily. The finish balances formal appearance with practical wearability.
How often do you need to wind this manually if unworn?
It doesn't need manual winding if worn regularly (normal arm movement winds it). If left unworn for three days, hand-wind it once. The 48-hour reserve means it survives missing one day of wear.
Can you wear this while swimming or is it truly daily-wear only?
Fifty metres means splash-proof and brief submersion (shower, quick dunking). Swimming involves extended water pressure and water entry during arm movements; avoid that. Daily wear is the limit.
Does the Seamaster brand name appear on the dial or is it understated?
The listing is a super clone, so the Seamaster name appears as it does on the reference. It's subtle, not the dominant feature. The dial style and markers are what define it visually.

Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance suitable for daily wear (about 50 metres). In QC, we check the dial finish under different lights, the bezel alignment if it's rotating, and the overall symmetry—40mm can look clumsy if proportions are off.
